Govt to provide Mobile clinic for smoother provision of health services in Kondoa

Josephat Kandege

The government has promised to provide health services through a mobile clinic van which will soon be introduced to the people in Kondoa district, Dodoma region. The government’s promise has been issued last week in Parliament by the deputy minister of State in President’s office for local government and regional administration Josephat Kandege when he was responding to a question which was raised by Kondoa urban legislator Edwin Gante Sanda (CCM). The legislator wanted to know when the government will bring to his people a mobile clinic so that they could provide heath services to people living in far flung areas with ease. The minister noted that, with the upcoming technological innovations, the government has resolved to buy medical vehicles which are fully equipped with health facilities and move around to far flung areas to provide the necessary heath services to its people. He noted that, his ministry has set aside in this year’s budget fund with which to supply such newly invented vehicles used to provide such services to rural people with ease countrywide, and in view of this people in Kondoa will benefit one just like in other needy places. He said it is the government’s intention to make sure that, “it does all it could in order to ensure that people living in far flung areas gets medical and health services within reach”.
