Govt to fulfill its promises in Manyoni district

The government has acquired the 50 hectares of land in Itigi Township in Manyoni district, Singida region on which to construct a district hospital in the area. The move by the government is to bring closer to the people health services and that, the current Gasper Hospital in the area is also doing the same. The deputy minister for local government and regional administration Josephat Kandege said last week in parliament when responding to the question earlier raised by Manyoni west legislator Yahya Omari Masale (CCM) who wanted to know then fulfillment of the government which it had issued of constructing an hospital of a district status. He said that, this is among the promises slated by the President when he toured the area during the campaigns in 2015. In line with the construction of the district hospital, the government is planning to buy an Ambulance car to serve the area and which would be able to withstand the road conditions which are full of potholes.
