The government has said that, after having
introduced free education scheme in public primary and secondary schools in the
country, parents or guardians should make use of the scheme to provide other
necessities for their children. The Prime Minister said last week in parliament
that, parents mush make sure that together with this free education which the
government has introduced, they must also try as much to buy for their children
proper uniforms, shoes so as to make them look smart whenever are going to
school. The premier was responding a question directed to him by Temeke legislator
Abdallah Ally Mtolea (CUF) who wanted to know with free education scheme in
public schools, is there any free incentives which the government might provide
such as food to primary students.
