IMPROMPTU QUESTIONS DIRECTED TO THE PRIME MINISTER HON: KASSIM MAJALIWA IN PARLIAMENT:
The government has assured youths in the country of
the availability of plenty of land spaces on which they can acquire in order to
conduct their economic development initiatives. The Prime Minister Kassim
Majaliwa gave the assurance last week in parliament when responding an
impromptu question directed to him by the special seat legislator Amina Mollel
(CCM) in a special session. The legislator wanted to know plans by the
government of setting aside more land spaces specifically for youths in order
to conduct their businesses. Responding to the question, the Premier has called
on youths in the country to open up their mind time around in order to acquire
the available opportunities for their economic empowerment. In order to
facilitate the move, the premier has also directed the concerned district and
regional authorities to stand firm over the matter so as to serve for the needy
people who approach them for the purpose.
