More medical equipments to be supplied including ambulances
MORNING SESSION OF QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS IN PARLIAMENT:
The government has set aside Tshs. 268 billions
during this years’ 2018/19 financial year to be used for the purchase of
various medical equipment including ambulances and supply them to the
designated district and regional hospitals
facing shortages of such facilities in the country.
The Deputy Minister for Health and Community Development, elderly and children Dr. Faustine
Ndugulile said today in parliament when responding a question which was earlier
directed to his ministry during question and answer session
He said that, the
aim of the government is to ensure that all hospitals in the country have necessary
working medical tools that are vital in order to save the lives of patients. However,
he has relieved the minds of people and legislators who are perplexed over the
implementation of the government on the idea of good heath and the program to
curb highly recorded rates of maternal and child mortality rates in the
country.
