President Dr.
John Magufuli has appointed Professor Andrew Barnabas Pembe to be the
Vice-Chancellor of the Muhimbili University of Health and Science (MUHAS). A
statement issued last
week by the State House Chief Secretary
Ambassador John Kijazi through the Director of State House Communications
Gerson Msigwa said that the new appointment of Prof. Pembe starts with
immediate effect. Before is appointment, Prof. Pembe was a senior lecturer and
the Deputy Vice-Chancellor in-charge of academic and research and consultancy.
