Construction of court buildings to be financed by the World Bank
The government has made it clear that it has
acquired loan from the World Bank (WB) with which to be used in the
construction of the court buildings in various districts in the country. The
Minister for Justice and Constitution Professor Palamagamba Kabudi said last
week in Parliament during question and answer session in the morning. Prof.
Kabudi was responding a question which was raised by Rorya legislator Lameck
Airo (CCM) which was asked on his behalf by Bunda legislator Boniface Mwita
(CCM) who wanted to know when the government will build a court house in Rorya
district which was established in 2008.

The minister also received a
supplementary question raised by Bunda legislator who wanted to know when the
government will renovate the dilapidated court building located in Nyamuswa
Town ship which is within his
constituency. The same question was raised by Korogwe rural legislator Steven
Hilary Ngonyani (CCM) when he said that, the court house in his constituency
need a thorough repair. Responding to these queries, Prof. Kabudi noted that,
all these repairs and building new court houses in the said constituencies will
be conducted by SUMA-JKT construction unit of the national service camp during
its second development phase. Prof. Kabudi also noted that, his ministry is
striving hard in order to get a permit to employ new staff in the judicial
sector during this 2018/19 financial year.
