President’s promises to be implemented without failure, says a minister
The government has assured Members of Parliament
that, it will implement all the promises made by the president during the
campaigns of constructing roads in all district councils in the country. The
deputy minister of State in President’s office responsible for Local Government
and Regional Administration (TAMISEMI) Josephat Kandege made the pledge of
fulfilling president’s promises to Members of Parliament early this week and requested
them to wait. The minister was responding a question raised by Igunga legislator
Dr. Peter Kafumu who wanted to know when
will the government construct a 4 km road which is in his constituency that was
promised by the president during his campaigns in the area. He said the
government would accomplish these projects one after the other depending on the
availability of funds.
